ford zf6 vs dmax zf6 case differance?

ok got a buddy that long story short says he broke the tail housing on his zf6 manual trans due to having too much power from efi and otherwise stock truck. he cant find a tail section anywhere. does the ford and chevy zf6 cases line up or does anyone know a good place that would have one? says he cant find one anywhere and has checked a lot of places. I know internaly they are different but what about the back casing?

to be clear this is the back half of the trans, the housing bolts to the front half and the back bolts up to the transfer case. I know its a long shot but fig someone might have an idea. thanks
