output shaft speed sensor ckt P0720
2003 ccsb 6.0 198,xxx miles
Got done doin the cab off headstuds and all the goodies on the 6.0
Drove it 900 miles from CA to ID and everything was perfect park the truck overnight and start it later the next day let it warm up come back to it and my tow/haul light was flashing... drove it to the store 1/2 mile away..very low power/torque i believe its starting in a higher gear also clunks into gear when it does shift also clunks into reverse.
output shaft speed sensor circuit code # P0720
I was told its a sensor towards the back of the tranny in front of the axle knuckle on top i felt around up there think i found it and its plugged in.
My questions are can I drive down the interstate like this?
closest dealer is 30 mile away and i don't even know if they'll have the part next closest is like 100 miles away.
What tools do i need to replace it to myself?
I cant see the damn thing up on top there and i dont have a mirror. Im just laying on the ground here in Island Park ID out in the cold lol so....
