Trannie hard downshifting

Don't really know how to ask this, from what I read I think it is common. It started about 2 weeks ago. Anyways, I noticed this when I was driving through downtown at 45 mph from stoplight to stoplight. Then it became more noticeable when I was cruising at like 35. My transmission really seems to drop out of gear very hard. More noticeable up to temp. It seems like its more around 3-5 shift range. Especially when locking or unlocking the converter out of fifth. I am running Vivian's Looney and it rolls thru the gears quickly and nicely. I changed the fluid a couple of months back and both filters. And just for giggles changed the frame filter again the other day. Filter looked great and so did the fluid. Is this shift flair? Would I benefit from a GoGo direct drive solenoid?
