Tranny problem on video

Well I started taking video's of my tranny problem so when I go to Ford I can share the problems with them and prove to them the truck has issues. Well the first video you can hear the surging and the second one is when the light flashes. I'm only into the throttle about 45%-65%. I know this thank to the dashhawk. I'm monitoring everything. When the torque conveter locks it will read 0 but when it starts surging the TC slip is from 40 to 220. The TCC rat jumps from .80 to 1.12. Here's the video's.

I hate to say it, but here's your problem.

2005 F250 cc/sb 6.0L
5R110 junk
Train horns
Bilstein leveled
with 35's
PPE Xcellerator <---------------Here's your problem
Limo, other stuff
Snap-On tools

I'm not singling out PPE, but we only see trans problems with 5R110's that are not tuned by an SCT custom tuner. We carry PPE and sell it everyday for Chevy and Dodge, but usually steer 5R110 customers towards a good custom SCT product. It is a complex transmission, and will work better than the Allison or the Dodge slush box in stock form with the proper tuning. I have tried them all in my truck, and nothing compares. If they warranty your transmission upgrade to a custom Xcal3 by someone if not ours. You will thank yourself.

If you have even a bit of a lead foot with the ppe, and you don't train your tranny right, then it will cause slippage which will burn your clutch packs. The same thing happened to me. I also have PPE(for sale by the way). You can return your truck back to stock, but once the damage is done, its done. When the light blinks for your tranny, its like a check engine light. It means its f-ed up.

If you feel your trans hasn't "re-learned" Properly. Un-tune, disconnect batteries, flash your headlights. Then you should be back to kindergarden I've been told. Try that and see if it makes any differance.

PPE makes great power, but I have several customers on this site making over 500hp on a trans with just custom tuning using an Xcal 2 or 3. It may be too late already for your current trany, but its worth a shot to re-learn it.

Once I felt a slight flare from 3rd to 4th on my 05. I called Eric and he sent me another file and fixed it. I dont know how that magic works, but it does somehow.

You posted while I was typing. My tranny has always flaired since new and still does till today. Did it about 6 times today in 90 miles of driving. That was the cause for 3 tranny's. Ford replaced the tranny's and didn't even try to fix the problem and didn't tell me they replaced the tranny's untill later. This surge is new and has only happened on the current tranny but my truck is red flagged and Ford headquarters won't pay the dealer to warranty it anymore even though I got the extended warranty.

Well then. If none of what has been mentioned is not the problem, I would suggest getting a highly reputable tranny shop to do a rebuild. I'm glad I did. Since I did, I haven't had a problem even with PPE+Water/meth. I used a roadrunner TC.
I used a local tranny shop. They build high performance trannies for local dealerships that race their diesels and other race vehicles. The owner also does a lot of 1/4 drag racing. He has over 30 years of experience. Do research. find someone like this. It will make your day!

I'm thinking about that. I would take it to John Wood since I'm about 4 hours away sometimes 1 hour. But why should I pay to get something fixed when it has a warranty. Plus I'm saving my money to get a YZ450F.
