"pop" or "bump

i have a 06 diesel auto. it make a pop or bump when shifting from 2 to 3. well it actually does it after shifting. tried taking it to ford and of course they could not feel it or hear it. it makes the noise on the driver side.

How many miles? Lifted? a little more info on the truck...

no, it is not lifted. 18k miles F350. everything is stock.

Well I would say u-joints or maybe carrier bearing, but it only has 18K on it.... hell if its stock take to the stealership, its still under warranty, lets us know what you find out

already had them grease the splines on the drive shaft, and that wasn't the problem. had it in the shop for a week and they said it never made the pop or bump, it made the noise about 3 miles down the road. i may have 2 different problems in the same general area. it is really fustrating.

took it by ford yesterday, and like always it did not make the noise and i rode around with the guy. he thinks it might be a body mount or some type of mount.
