06 Tranny 5R110 with 80,000 mi just died?

I was driving down a side street doing about 30 mph, I heard a very light clunk and the transmission died, no drive, first, second, reverse... No dash lights came on, the tranny was working fine. It just rev's up in any gear with out any
engagement. Mechanic said the codes read to replace the servos and he replaced two and nothing happened, then he said it has to be internal problem.
Has this happened to anyone?

SOunds like a problem I had, it turned out to be the transfer case.. internal issues. I think it cost me around $300 to fix.
