Lucas NON Slip

Was having issues with my transmission not shifting when doing about 30MPH untill i let off the pedal then pressed it again. Called the local dealership and he said to use a Friction Modifier. So i used some Lucas Non slip. Cant remember the exact name. Truck is a 05. Manufacture date 12/04. Good or bad? I did it with concerns of the tranny slipping and i lost MPG.

Never heard of a friction modify being used in a 5r. Unless you talked directly to a tech on the phone, unlikely, I would take what anybody at the dealership tells you with a few grains of salt.
