Reverse shudder

Hey, im having some problemes with my recently rebuilt trans. I have a shudder when i put it into reverse. Sometimes it doesnt do it, sometimes it does a little and sometimes its quite violent. After it engauges it works fine, unless I stab the gas while moving then it seems to I hadshudder more. I had the pcm reflashed, didn't help. Then had all the solenoids replaced, still the same. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mine also shutters in reverse but only when shifting back and fourth while plowing but if you shift and wait till it fully engages then its fine i was hoping a sticky shift solinoid or something

Hey sorry to hear you're having an issue. I'm not too sure what was wrong with mine but it was internal. Luckily for me mine was under warranty.

All diesels that i've plowed with have shuddered if you get on the gas to quickly shifting to reverse. You can shift the gas tranny like a standard while going from drive to reverse.

Did all the diesels you plowed with have 5r's? Not normal on a 5r.

Not sure. 2006 f350srw 6.0, 2006 f350 drw dump body 6.0, 2008 f350 srw 6.4, and 2009 f350 6.4 dump body.

If you hop on the gas right away it'll shudder. I've noticed on my 2006 srw that it sometimes takes a few to shift into reverse.
