shift when driving 70 mph
ok guys 2003 f-250 when i'm driving usually 60 to 70 mph down the hwy. let off the gas for a second and push the pedal back down my trans kicks out of overdrive back down a gear then back to overdrive usually 2000 pms to 1800 rpms any idea is this usuall.

Totally normal for a stock truck. or some tuned ones depending on the tune. it unlocks overdrive then when you step back on the pedal it locks back in.

mines tuned and it does it if i let off and hit the gas

I have tunes that are set up to do that like stock and some that don't unlock even when you hit the brake.

i just hauled the boat light little 3000 lbs in tow/haul mode and it didn't do it today let off the gas for about 10 seconds and it kept it in overdrive put it back to normal and it does it .
