Tranny completly locked up!
I noticed a sort of hesitation every now and again for months. The other day it seemed to hesitate pretty bad and when I slowed down to turn a corner my tranny completely locked up which threw me into my seat belt quite hard. I pulled off to the side of the road, my mechanic drove it and it was doing the same thing. Locking up completely in 3rd or 4th gear, completely stopping in an instant and then letting go. Everything looked fairly normal, no metal in the pan, fluid looked new. Anyone ever hear of this happening?
