08 auto tranny

Quick question. Will an 2008 ford f-350 go in an 05 f-350. Nothing wrong with my 05 tranny yet, but a guy over here has 3 wrecked 2008 f-350 with automatic transmissions and transfer cases with low miles and I might be able to pick one real cheap to save as spare for later. Im assuming there are 5 speed autos.?

Ok well I searched the 6.4 tranny posts to answer my questions, and no a 08 F-350 tranny will not work on the 6.0 due to diffrent fly wheel pattern and computer. But I did locate a 07 F-250 tranny with low miles for $800 gonna check it out this weekend.
