trans dipstick leak torqshift

Ive got a pretty good leak from my trans dipstick going on. Its leaking at the very lowest part where the short tube goes into the transmission case, not the o ring between the long one and short one...did some reasearch and seems like there is no o-ring there...is that little tube just pressed in? if so any good way to fix it? I tried cleaning it up and gooping it up with rtv...it leaked right through that...i have the heads off now for the stud install, so i was just wondering if i should get something to pound it in if it was originally pressed in or what? Any help would be great. Thanks guys
