Speedo quit working

04 F250 4x4 speedo stops working and ABS light comes on at same time. Also odometer stops working. Any Ideas?

I'd guess your output shaft speed sensor?

Yeah, this is very common. Its either the speed sensor in rear diff or a broken wire going to the speed sensor itself. Usually gets kinked and brakes cover and gets corrosion inside.

Having the same issue with mine. Changed out my sensor in the diff and still not working. Wires and harness didnt seem to be broken so idk. Hopefully you will get it fixed so i can follow suit. Good luck.

Any luck, Speed sensors are in the front hub assemblies as well as the diff. my speedo drops to 0 and then works but abs light stays on
