Hose on top of my trans.

I reached up on top of my trans in my 2004 f250 and found a loose hose. One end goes to the rear of my trans and the other is just laying there clipped to the top of the trans. I mean I guess its a hose cannot really tell. Feels like one and look like one, but can't feel anything coming out.

It should be one of your vent hoses. That's how it's supposed to be.
