Tranny line leaking, OD light flashing......No start??

Hello all, I'm beating head against the wall...
My truck is the '03 6.0 oooho, f350 crew cab 4wd.... This past weekend I had a tranny line leak while out working a few miles from home. I stopped at the dealer to order a new line & get some fluid. Less than a mile from home it started hesitating between shifts & the OD light started flashing, fluid was apparently lower than I thought.

I parked the truck, turned it off & tried to restart, but got no starter at all. I did a test light to starter w/ someone holding the ignition switch open...no power. I did get it started and running by jumping the starter from the battery. Prior to this leaking matter everything was working fine & never had any issues w/ the ignition switch. Also, a few of the mini fuses in the block aren't getting any power either.

Today I fixed the line, but won't have fluid until morning...it's on order. After talking w/ 2 different tranny guys...they & a few others think that it's the "Neutral Safety Switch" or about 3 other names I've heard it called. I picked one of those up...only problem is that it doesn't exist on the case, or it's internal or something completely different...I'm out of ideas???

The other problem seems to be that these guys all think that I have a 4R100 tranny, when after doing some searching and looking at some diagrams (some really bad ones) it would seem that I actually have a 5R110W tranny, which shows no "Neutral Safety Switch".

I was also told that there is probably a "Fluid level Sensor" by my Napa parts guy, but a tranny shop guy says NO there isn't. I was also told that this unique transmission was only built for about 2.5 years, and that may be why nobody seems to know much & why nobody but the dealer stocks the Mercon SP fluid.

Sooo, I'm asking the guys who would know better than anyone else, unless there's a engineer somewhere close by...any input would be greatly appreciated...Thanks for reading.
