2-3 shift issue

I have an 05 auto with 55K on it. All stock with Edge Evolution on Tow tune. The trans shifts perfect every gear except 2-3 when using light go pedal. Under hard acceleration or atleast half throttle all shifts are nice and firm up and down. When accelerating slowly like in traffic the 2-3 shifts then clunks. Anyone else have this issue? I have not serviced the tranny yet - will be doing so soon. The truck only tows a 5K boat and never very far.

Lots of folks here with the 5R110 will have this characteristic. It's common to 5R110. Annoying, but common.

not really that i'm aware of, short of addressing it in a rebuild

Ok - so nothing to worry about? Do they all do it or just some? Is it better to run a tuner and have it shift harder or leave it stock?

Mine seems alot better with my tow tune and more noticeable with srl+

Mine was unnoticeable with the DP Tuner 80 HP tune, which in my opinion had some almost a radical transmission programming. I have since had them back off of crazy trans programming, and it is evident, but less noticeable than stock, and almost nonexistent with the Tow/Haul engaged (which DP Tuner leaves alone)
