trans problem???
went to drive the truck a few weeks ago and it would hang in 2nd and delay shift into 3rd and slip a little bit. Parked it for a week and we drove it today and it would hardly shift out of 1st. It eventually through a DTC and came back as Shift solenoid D. Looking for an opinion, this truck has had a suncoast in it for 3 years. i replaced the direct clutch solonoid in it with a factory ford one (it had the suncoast solonoid) that didnt fix a thing. the fluid didnt look bad that was in it. the truck is still throwing the same codes too

i dont know if it could just be an electronic issue or if the main clutches are going. weird thing was it was shifting great no issues at all parked it for a night and the next day was when it started to slip
