probably my own fault... lol

well its happened a couple times, see sig, have vivians looney tune, the other day i stomped on it and cruised sideways onto the highway turning left and held her at W.O.T, when it went to shift, its like it jumped into neutral, hit the rev limiter n i let off and it shifted and i sped on my way, its happened only a couple times in the last 15k miles but it worries me and usually it seems like it happens on a bumpy gravel road, advice...

Mine did the same thing with Matt's SRL tune. I've been told its the direct clutch solenoid on the tranny. I ordered the modified direct solenoid from Doug at GOGO diesel. They say that this takes care of the problem. As soon as it gets here, I'll let you know if it takes care of it.

yeah the direct clutch seems to be the weak spot in these trannies. there are many claims of burnt directs especially in modified trucks

the direct clutch solenoid is easy to do take of the transmission pan and its the bank of three middle one pull it out and replace it with the modified one i got mine from holderdown performance online and it works great
