Tranny issue

last night while driving home from work my 04 f350 down shifted on its own then acted like it could not figure out what gear it wanted to be in. the tow haul light started flashing I made it home shut the truck of restarted it and light was off. This morning I tried to drive it but it wanted to shift all the time and light started flashing again. Can anyone give me an idea if this is a sensor or more serious. Thanks.

i have the same issue.. i heard its the temp sensor but i cant find one to save me... still researching
