Will not come out of park!

I have a 2004 superduty, 87,000 miles, no electronic tuners, basically all stock except for air filter. Today I experienced a problem with the tranny not wanting to come out of park. The only way it came out of park was to rock the truck forward and back. Soon after it released. I am sure this has been asked numerous times just didn't want to search all previous post's.

Is your brake switch bad? Mine had been giving me issues for a while, eventually I couldn't get it out of park at all. Replaced it and all is right in the world.

give this thread a read, may help and has some part #'s, sounds like you are having the same problem the couple of guys are talking about further into it as opposed to my issue. Truck Accelerates/Revs when I brake with Cruise Control On
