Clunk and Groan
my truck is a 2007 F250 Automatic 4x4 with 6.0psd
so, i have a couple issues with the transmission, i think. First being a clunking noise from 2nd to 3rd that i just started to notice in the last couple days. it's only when shifting from 2nd to 3rd and on the throttle normal. second is when i'm in overdrive and the convertor is locked and i'm at lower speeds around 45ish mph i get a driveline "groan" "hum" of sorts that i can hear and feel in the floor. As soon as i get to around 50mph is goes away. any suggestions? thanks, chriks |

I have the 2-3 clunk to. Truck shifts fine, but the clunk can be slightly felt under the floorboard. No other shifting problems. If you just ease through the throttle it does'nt clunk( or at least I can't feel it or hear it). Step on it a bit and clunks everytime. Anyone else have this issue. 2004 F-250 Super Duty 6.0. 247,000 miles.
