tranny is doin some wierd chit

On my way home from work minding my one business stopped at a red light and this little honda civic hatch back pulls up next to me, he has all his windows down and the rap music is screaming out of his car. It was only 18*. Light turns green and I hear his fart can act up, so at about 15 mph I drop the hammer and load his ricer full of smoke. I stayed on it till about 70mph. I let off and my TC stayed locked up and slowed me down and then the truck slamed in to 4th gear, all with my foot completely off the skinny pedal. running the extreme street tune right now. not sure what is going on but i couldn't make it happen again the rest of the way home???

Get out of the extreme race tune and see how it drives. Most likely it was because your line pressure was so high you got a firm shift to 4th. The line pressure is probably why your TC stayed locked up.

Mine did the same tonight. Same truck(even color haha) but no tunes. Now it shifts realllll hard and at high rpm. Dunno what happened. And my speedo stopped for a min.

trans did the down shift again. Is it posible the solenoid pack is going bad or possibly a TC

over drive clutch pack or tc. does it do anything weird in reverse?

once in a while before i had my custom tunes it would shutter when I put in reverse. Hasn't happened since I have had my custom tunes

I would check you ebp sensor. ecm operates on a bases of what that sensor reads (as well a couple others). Mine was acting up and it was making my trans do some wierd things as well...also have you checked ficm voltage?
