Tranny problem again

So I'm having problems again with my tranny. Today going up a hill unloaded the engine shifted into O.D. and then started surging. It's been doing this ever since it got rebuilt. Back to the problem I was going up this hill and it was shifting between 4th and 5th and then the tow haul light started flashing and it won't shift into 5th now.

So I just got back from the fleet center and the code that came up is 1744. They were saying torque converter issue. Well I'm going to go research this.

To be honest with you i would say replace the PPE programmer with the SCT. I know PPE is great in the duracraps. But it seems hard on the trannys

Is SCT the same as superchips. Because SCT is superchips custom tunes.

No SCT is different. Contact one of the vendor's they will be able to set you up with one.

Thought I would bump this because I'm having a hard time finding info on code 1744. If anyone know's anything about it feel free to post.

Sorry, I can elaborate much on the code because I don't have the explaination for it here, but my brother had sent me the P-codes list when I had issues with my tranny and it shows:

Thanks thats all I need. I've been reading through some other forums and this is what people are saying about there trannies that have the same symptoms.
