This may be why we have issues with the Tranny...

I called the Ford place yesterday to confirm I have the correct transmission filter for my truck. I give them the VIN number and the FT144 was the correct filter. But get this - the FT145 did not even come up as a replacement for the Ex and Marc says in another thread it should be changed every 15K miles!?!?! Sounds like someone is trying to sell $4K transmissions.

And to add insult to injury no other parts houses have it!

Am I wrong about this? Does every 6.0 have to toilet paper filter?

yes all torque shifts use the 7b155 (toilet paper filter) inline bypass filter change it every 15k if towing
