Angry Tranny and warrenty help

I have an 04 6.0 and it's in the shop.... again. The truck has 49,000 on it and the tranny and motor are acting up. Sometimes it'll feel like you got bumped while at a stop. I've read that this is a common problem. Well the dealership told me that the tech recomends to flush the tranny and clean the injectors. I did it (tranny flush)back around 30,000. They want me to pay to have them done and MAYBE that will fix the problems. My tow/haul switch stopped working some time ago and they are charging me $200 to fix that. The egr valve needed to be replace (they covered that) as well. I thought the tranny was covered under the 5/100,000mi coverage.... but was informed that it was just under the 3/36. Is that correct, and seeings how I already have flushed it would that fix the problem.....? I've also had the ingition switch replaced earlier.

To date: 4wheel drive broke (locked up - couldn't get it out of 4wheel)
Turbo intercooler blew
Front end went (needed servicn', do to 4x problem)
Ignition switch
Brake peddle went bad
Tranny (problem from above)
Black Smoke (egr twice)
Tow switch
Motor rev's like it has a mind of it's own
And the recall stuff everyone deals with.

Can you tell I'm upset

I've moved around a bit and have also had the truck at 6 different places (can't help that.)

Any ideas on the warrenty or if flushing it will even help. The place that its at now charges $95 and hour....... ouch

Thanks
Kevin

alot of dealers dont tell customers about a little thing called a p01 and p05, these are an after waranty assist progam ford has that is used when it is a good customer , or the vehicle is just out of warranty like say the truck has 37,402 miles on it and trans takes a dump , the dealer can p01 the trans , the service manager has control over that , what they do is the customer does have to pay something but only a percentage , say 40 % , dealer pays 20% and ford pays the other 40% , which with a expensive repair saves customer alot of money , usually only gets used with good customers that bring there truck in alot or has bought several vehicles , like i said , alot of dealers dont even tell there customers that such things exist, you only get one p01, so you have to be careful how you use it , a p05 is similiar but the customer has to pay more percentage , the service manager with either one has to sit down with ford rep to get it ok'd

Thanks for the info on the p01/05 deal. Not sure I'll get that kind of love. I've never been to this shop before. Like I said I've had it at 6 different dealers since new. So they didn't get the sale, only the problems.

Does any one know about the tranny flush being a big help or do you think it is a waist of time? I had to wait three weeks to get the truck in this shop (they are very busy) and I just got the feeling that they didn't want to get into it. It has been done before.

As for the injector cleaning.... the truck does idle ALOT. I'm down in South Florida and it gets pretty HOT. If I run in the store I'll leave it running w/ the A/C running for my dog. I also was in New Orleans after Katrina doing releaf work and some days it never shut off. Everytime I change the oil I'll put a bottle of TECHRONŽ Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner in it. I thought it was a better product.

Anyway, thanks for any all help.

There was a recall on the 04 trannies. Heres the site 6.0 PowerStroke bulletins and type in the on the find on this page "Recall on 2004 TorqShifts". I got a remaned 04 tranny in my truck and blew out reverse in about 4000 miles. The bump you are feeling is the TC locking up.

This must be a Florida thing because my '06 does the same thing. Feels like someone gave you a bump from behind? Drives me crazy and I don't have 8K mile on my truck yet...
