Need some how to assistance

Hey guys haven't worked with the 5r110's to much. Having a problem on an 04 excursion where the trans gauge goes to zero when it gets warmed up and the tow/haul light flashes. In my opinion it's the trans temp sensor. So what I need help with is the process to change this. At this point I know the pan needs to come down(I believe). Thanks for any help. Also any good place to buy one would help. Only ford at ths point.

you need to replace the internal hard harness inside the trans with the sensor(shorted out inside the harness). is pretty easy to do, you shouldn't need to remove the solenoid body.

Ok thanks. Do you what's involved in changing that harness. Is it all internal to the trans. Any idea what the sensor and harness run price wise. Thanks again
