Transmission slip and RPM flare

I was getting on the interstate last night and accelerated pretty good to get in front of some traffic to around 60mph and when I let off the gas, I noticed my rPM's were still running around 3000 even though I let off the gas, when I touched the pedal again to go, it flared up really high and then it shifted into the correct gear and everything seemed fine after that. This is the second time the transmission has been like stuck in a gear after I got onto. This is new since I put on the SCT and using Eric's ExtremeStreet. The truck was warm on both occasions. I put the truck back to stock and then re-tuned it today to see if that fixes it. Does anyone know what could be causing this. I haven't has any issues like this before. I have a call into Innovative. Thanks
