trans relearn?

is there a way to force a trans relearn?i have just installed a bullydog tuner & now the trans shifts like crap. if i un-install it & put the old bullydog tuner in it shifts fine.i dont get why one tuner would need a relearn & not the other,since both tuners are supposed to have the same tunes just different guage screens. 2007 f350 6.0

Get rid of the bullydog and get you a SCT with custom tunes. You will be much happier.

i will get to that eventually,but for now the trans shift is the issue. i had my last truck custom tuned {gryphon} & it was well worth it , but it was heavily modified. my current truck has only 5 inch exhaust & a lift & thats all its getting.

so far nobody has been smart enough to answer or even completely read the question. i will research somewhere else. dont see much point on a bashing site

Your best bet is just to completely get rid of the bully dog. We are not bashing, just looking out for you and your trucks best interest. But if you must, disconnect the batteries for about 10 mins.

these people are not bashing you at all, they are giving you quality information that will help the longevity of your truck and mostly transmission..your bully dog is kickin your tranny in the *** right now, for the price you paid for it you could get a sct and custom tunes and gauges..

you dont need a hopped up truck with a million mods to do custom tunes, you can do custom tunes with just your 5 inch exhaust..there are many tunes out there if you dont want alot of power, and also vice versa..i went with eric at innovative (amazing tunes) my trans shifts flawlessly and the thing flat out hauls AZZZZ..

so again no one is bashing you, but they are telling you the best thing to do..no point in going through all the trouble with the bully dog when you could have a SCT wihtout one problem..

so, sorry about what may have been seen as attitude but i was tryin to get the relearn question answered which eventually i did. that being said its time to figure out which sct product to buy. does anybody run sct canned tunes?which programmers are you running?they have i think 4 different tuners...not really sure on their power gains or difference between tuners.my truck is mechanically stock other than head studs & 5 inch turbo back exhaust. 8 inch lift ,37 inch mud grapplers.any ideas would be great

I would get a SCT x3 with Innovative Diesel tunes.
