***UPDATE***6.0L Saga

Well on the way home from work today the truck decided to slip into 3rd suddenly and slam into gear. So I got off it, and pulled on a side road. Tow/Haul light started flashing and the truck won't shift out of 1st gear. Could also feel it surging a little around 2grand and not wanting to go over 10mph.

This happend after I just put my truck back to stock because it was missing bad (to the point you could see the vibrations in the mirrors) at lunch time and didn't have much power. What the heck is goin on here? Am I cursed?

133k. This is in addition to it missing really bad earlier today at lunch and having no power...AND the EGR system going bad. I don't know what I'm going to do I don't have the money layin around to fix all this or the credit to buy a new truck.

**UPDATE** Well I just reprogrammed it to stock again...(which caused it in the first place) and it didn't do it this time. Of course I just went down my road so I didn't go over 25...but it shifted into 3rd fine. This is weird...what wiring did they tell you was bad?

it would be cheaper and more advantageous to do an EGR delete than try and get it fixed.... what tunes are you running?
