4.30 it is, and just found out my roomate has everything to do them and hes done plenty of them..and last question, where do i find 4.30's? i looked at precision but couldtn find them

4.30s might be difficult to find. When I went to get gears for my dad I think they said precision weren't making 4.30s anymore. You have any shops around you?

well theres a 4wheeldrive shop in town, and a couple transmission shops..not sure if they will carry anything on hand like that

Any drivetrain places? They won't carry it on hand, it will need to be ordered. I believe its like a 10.25 axle in the rear and dana 60 in the front. Need to look into that to check to make sure you get the appropriate size.

its the 10.5 rear end, i had to replace a axle shaft a couple months back..found yukons online for about 745.00, that sounds about right as far as cost..yukon any good?

Yukon are very good. Sounds about right for a price to me. You might want to check your bearings while he's in there.
