Tranny Vibration

I noticed the other day that my tranny seems to vibrate in the lower gears a little bit. I did not do this till I put the SCT tuner on, at least not that I noticed...anyone had this problem before?

Ive got a similar problem. I notice it in all gears and it seems the worst between 1500 and 1800 rpm. I mainly feel it in the pedals and I just noticed when sitting at a light idling I can feel it slightly if I put my hand on the center console...if I put the truck in neutral at the light it goes away.

My truck had it when stock...then I put my 4" exhaust on and it got slightly worse...and now after running the sct for approx 8,000 kms it seems to be getting worse again.

like I said it didn't do this till I put on the sct...but it only does it in a certain rpm range...if I accelerate it goes away or if I let off...i dunno...I wonder if it has to do with the torque converter.

are you talking about when you are at a stop and get on it real hard? Sounds like torque converter sutter to me. Mine has been doing it now forever. Pisses me off. Let us know when you find out what it is.

If im idling or getting on it it doesnt do anything. Its only when Im accelerating at a normal rate, usually happens when Im just above 2000 rpms or so. Accelerate harder and it goes away. I dunno

Its probably something to do with the torque converter. The factory torque converter is pretty crappy ive heard. Change that out and you should be good so ive been told. Just dont have the money for that right now
