Trans is slow engauging Drive to reverse...

When I first got my truck, I could go from drive to park while sitting still extremely quick. Now it will sit there for about 1.5-2 full seconds and then engauge the gear....

Is my fluid/filter dirty? Could that solve the problem?

I do tow a 32 foot car trailer and car inside it quite a bit...

Mine was doing this and I just dropped my tranny pan and replaced that filter and put new oil in and its a lot better. Id do the external one to. $92 at ford for oil and filter in tranny another $33 for the external one so kinda spendy for what it entails.
