Convert from auto to manual

Question,

Has anyone heard of switching from an automatic to a manual on an 04' 6.0L.

Is there a kit?

Is this even possible with all the electronics?

The trans tunnel is different, 6pd man needs more room so you will have to do some floor pan work, other than that someone will have to chime in.

I remember reasding somewhere that if you disconnect the plug on the side of your tranny and it starts you can do it. If it don't you cant do it. IMO sounds like a bunch of bs. But it got me to thinking what if you can somehow trick the electronics into thinking the truck is in neutral and it starts then why couldn't you do a stick? Just throwing some stuff out there. I would love to go this.

Its called "jumpering" the switch. Your talking about the neutral safety switch and yes you can trick it. You just splice the wires together tricking the computor into thinking that the truck is in neutral. Did it on my old jeep so i could start it in gear with the clutch pushed in, came in handy wheelin.
