Shift problem with the tow/hale button

the other day was my first time pulling any thing with my truck. i was pulling my cj7 on a flat bed traler i have a edge Juice with Attitude i moved it up to the tow mode and hit the botton tow.hall on the shifter. when i was driveing any thing over 40 and let off the gas the truck felt like it was down shifting i tried turning the juice off same thing and then i turn the tow.hall switch off on the shifter and the truck started shifting right the trane temp never got over 170 any ideas

In tow/haul it will automatically downshift to assist in stopping.

well that sucks when you on the interstat and you let off the gas to gost
