slip in 1st and 2nd... need advice

truck recently started slipping in 1st and 2nd. the truck was fine until i towed a light load and thats when i felt it slip and has been since. under normal driving its fine but in hard acceleration it revs up and shifts late. and occasionally in 3rd the truck will pull good then around 3 grand it feels as is if it hits nitrous, feels like it grabs hard. fluid is full and clean.

what do you guys think?

Id take it to a tranny shop and have them pull some codes for you to see what could be the prob.

Go to dealer and ask them to scan the codes for free.

i had the same problem. If you are still under the warranty then go back to FORD. I was out of warranty i have 108K and just bought JASPER Tranny! Just installed it on 08/19/09 and it's so nice.....and smooth. 3years or 100,000 miles warranty.

Good luck

Robert
