Bunch of waterout the exhaust

A buddy of mine has an 05 and he was driving around town yesterday and white smoke was coming out the exhaust and then a little later a bunch of water came out and the truck also keeped dying I'm guessin head gaskets.

Possibly head gaskets (I hope not!). What about an EGR cooler leaking?

That's it the egrcooler he took it in and it's all covered under warranty.

Sounds good that it was just the EGR Cooler. I think that a lot of people see white smoke and jump right to the "Head Gasket" conclusion.

While this repair was covered under warranty, your buddy might want to keep our EGR Cooler Upgrade (NT Shoptools.com, Mesa) in mind for the next time it goes.
