Wont go into Gear.

So i just bought a 2005 ford f 250 with a 16" lift. has 25k miles..has a intake..exhast..and a superchip programmer (but i took that off 2 days ago).
I got in my truck 2 days ago..and it would shift into gear...but wount go anywhere..then i put it in reverse..and the motor wouldt even rev when i stepped on it. would not move at all..not even roll..as if it was still in park..so i put my progamer back to stock...same problem..wouldt move..so i finally put it in gear..put the pedal to the floor..and it caught drive..and the problem hasnt happend seince..any ideas? ford says the trannie works fine..haha..and also..has a oil leak by the turbo..which ford is saying its the head gasket..and my coolant is overflowing from the cap??

has anyone else had this problem?

and yes..its still under warrant!!

any help would be great..

so the connecton from the shifter is good to the tranny?

yeah..i can feel the gears as i go from park to drive..but..i dont know..anyone else have an idea?

my truck is reving up once i put it in gear and not moving, it kinda sounds like what happened to your truck at first. Did you ever figure out what made it work all of the sudden?

i just started reving the motor..and it grabed drive..i wasnt about to pay someone to tow it down to ford..haha

hmm, that would be nice if my truck did that. I have a feeling I will be dropping my tranny this week.

yeah..hope not..but i had my programmer on tow when it happend..then put it to stock before ford got it..so it erased the codes it was throwing..if any..so the tranny guy at ford said there wasnt a problem..
