boost limits?

My boost was max out at 36 psi. A few days ago i mashed on it and got it to 43 psi. Today now on the way home from the mountains, it only max at 21psi. Found out that the short rubber hose from the coolor to the turbo came apart and was leaking air. Put it back together 3 times but when it gets to 24psi. it blows off.

03 with 6.0 has a chip

Higher altitudes will cause lowerr boost also.

When you hit 24 psi the charge hose blows off?? If thats the case clean it very good, make sure theres not excessive amounts of oil in the tubing. Then clean it with brakeclean, or carb spray and tighten the clamps good.
