Question Low boost Preasure Stock 06 6.0??

I have a bone stock 2006 with a 6.0. The boost guage shows about 19 PSI in first through third gears. it steps up to about 21 in fourth and 23 25 and finally 29 in 4th 5th and 6th gears. This is with the petal mashed and on flat roads. Is this normal? If so, why don't I get max boost in all the gears? I have owned the truck from new and It seems to have lost power, especially while towing. Any opinions appreciated.

What does it do from a dead stop and you mash it to the floor?

It builds to about 19 PSI, goes no higher through third gear then progressivly gets higher through the final gears. It goes to about 21 in fourth 23 or 24 in fifth and will sometimes get as high as 29 on top. I have done all my maint, and put a new air filter in less than 5k miles ago... Anyone?

Does it feel down on power? Those boost numbers sound relatively normal for stock

Yeah, esp while towing. It was down shifting trying to hold a 1% grade which was never an issue before. Is it normal then to not get full boost through all of your gears? I mean the pedal is pinned and I'm asking for everything. I guess I figure the turbo would be willing.... Coments?

The vanes inside the turbo could be sticking causing your problem. Notice any puffs of black smoke out of the exhaust when pulling hills?

No black smoke while pulling. I did notice some black smoke on startup in the side mirror. I thought it was odd but it went away in a few secs and has never smoked again that I know of.
