high EGTs

just put in a set of stage 1 injectors and an industrial injection phat shaft 62/70. but now my EGTs spike alot faster. could the larger injectors cause the motor to run hotter. need help

also got a EGR block off plate. would a EGR delete be better

yes the injectors will make the EGTs higher.check to make sure you dont have any exhaust leaks before the turbo and make sure you dont have any boost leaks. what exhaust are you using??

im using a MBRP turbo back no kitty but i do have a muffler

I agree check for leaks........ that turbo should cool those injectors. Who are you running for programming......... some ramp the egt up faster..... sct custum tunes run the coolest..... predator, bully dog ect... will ramp egts up much faster...

im running elite for now. but I will be getting tunes from cale at BTS
