t/s starting problem.

Hey guys, i'll introduce myself, my name is brandon, and one of my good buds has a 2006 f350, 6.0l of course, he has been having problems starting.

It will crank, starts for a little bit (1-2 Sec.) then dies, i have removed the egr valve and cleaned it. it had an excessive amount of build up. it seems like he has been burning to much fuel so im thinking that some of the injectors are dirty, or shot ( too much carbon ) and if it is to much carbon we could just clean them. his fuel filter is good, hes getting fuel, i just dont know why it wont stay running.

i was just wondering if anybody else had come accross this problem? i have not done injectors on a powerstroke 6.0L, are they a pain to do? or even to remove and look. my friend would take it into the shop but he is lacking the funds at the moment.

thanks in advance

-brandon
