6.0 egts high

i had my truck in the shop for flex pipe being cracked in the y pipe..which i thought was making my egt's high because the exhaust wasnt getting into the turbo, well the y pipes fixed and now the egts are still insane...600 minimum idleing and when im barley on the throttle im seein 1100 to 1200 degrese...i wanna get this fixed so i can take it down to TS..but that isnt lookin to likely

Any ideas whats goin on with it?

Is your gauge a off maybe?

the guage was never off before it was always cool and good to go...its just to much of a coincidence that its that high all of a sudden

bump it up for the night...gonna crash..head to talk to my tech in the morning and hopefully goin to TS...ill be bummed if i cant make it down been lookin forward to this all year

Maybe check your ic boots or the plastic sides on the intercooler for cracks I don't know much about the 6.0's, just thinking out loud

thanks...ill prob be headed out ot talk to glenn sometime tomorrow...and i just got it back from there today...looks like the bts is the last thing on my mind for now...i think .4 lieters more might be coming in my future
