JUST REPLACED TURBO IN MY 2004 F350

JUST REPLACE THE TURBO IN MY 2004 F350 - THEY FLASHED MY COMPUTER WITH AN UPDATE - RUNS GOOD - BUT MY QUESTION IS BEFORE I TOOK IT IN THE FUEL PUMP WOULD RUN FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS AFTER SHUT OFF AND NOW IT DOES NOT. IS THIS BECAUSE OF THE UPDATE OR IS IT SOMETHING THAT THEY DIDNT HOOK UP PROPERLY.

That is the expected result of a an update reflash. The newer trucks do not have the injector 'buzz' at shut down.

Thanks for the info

Thats what I thought, But I thought when they recalled the old fuel pumps, they had that 20 second lapse because it was suppose to keep your injectors clean. Now they probably realized that it causes your turbos to blow ha ha ha, and took it off the program.
