Too much injector cleaner maybe?

04 f-350sd drw 4wd crew,Western hauler conversion.
I bought this truck a year ago to haul RV's out of the Elkhart IN. area, but that hasn't happened yet. This truck is treated like a baby and the 6.0 is stock. About every third time I fuel up I put some Lucas lubricator, injector cleaner in also. I ran out of the Lucas stuff and I had some Howes Diesel treat on the shelf , so I used it. It said to double the dose the first time to clean her out good as I did. The next day the motor started missing and smoking. I drove it 3 days like this thinking i broke a chunk of dirt loose and plugged an injector. Engine still missing and smoking I got crazy and poured 1/2 ounce Diesel Power injector cleaner into the upper fuel filter. This did stop the missing ,but i think it is smoking more and it smokes alot, no one wants to drive behind me lol. Is it possible to put too much stuff in the fuel and cause this ? mileage is 88900. Cleand EGR yesterday , It was damp in there , not sure if was liquidwrench i used , or coolant. smoke is mostly white, but don't smell like coolant the way a gas engine does . Any ideas ? Thanks.

If its all white smoke, and the intake was wet did you notice any puddles of coolant in there? Jack the rear of the truck and look under the egr valve again. It sounds to me like the egr cooler went bad on ya.

Ok I'll jack her up and see what happens. Everything I,ve been reading leads me to this area I'll let you now what I find . I wonder what that EGR cooler will cost me? And hope not too hard to replace. Thanks Wille

I raised the back of the truck as far as i could 7" and let it sit for a few hours. I didn't get any puddles , but I stuck a piece of paper towel down there for 1/2 hour. It was damp not wet.

If the EGR valve was wet and it's still smoking white after cleaning It's The Cooler!! If it's stock Take it to Ford for warranty since it's under 100K. Or good time to block or delete cooler!!

Oh boy I got a call from the dealer today what a bummer I was told #7 injector has dropped out 1&3 are weak .They want 2203.00 to replace all 4 injectors on that bank of cylinders. Man , I just want to get drunk now. Well I'm going to look at fixing it myself thats for sure, any tips or hints now would really help . Thanks everyone for your help.

And how could the warranty be up , 2004 truck? Even if it sold in 09/2003 it should have at least 3 months of engine warranty left when it's got 89000 miles on it .
