**HELP** Cant get EGR out !

I was gonna take my egr out and clean it but it wont pull out,
i can get it to turn about a 1/4 inch but wont pull out, i even
tried to pull it out with channel locks.

i did take the 2 bolts out (so u know)

So what gives ?

wiggle and pull up with the channel locks...it will come out. Get up there on yours knees right above it so you get the best possible leverage.

Wiggle and pull.

nope, it has two very stubborn rubber o rings aroiund it. Might even spray some penatrating oil down around it, i bet that would help a lot. Got any PB Blaster?

if you can, put a common screwdriver between the valve and the mating surface and carefully twist it. It will help raise the valve out of the hole. Looking at the front, you can fit a screwdrver under some lines and be able to twist.

a slide hammer makes it a pretty simple removal also
