can you unplug 04 EGR
if truck is turned off and i unplug the egr valve wont it stay closed! any codes? does this work!

Yep it works, I did it for awhile, I just did the egr up pipe plug yesterday, works much better. NO codes... The problem with unplugging, the exhaust pressure can still blow it open once in awhile. But you will notice the engine quiets down a bit with it off.
