Looking for oil leak in hpop system.

I've been fighting a hard/no start issue for a while now with my 06 f350. I finally decided to tear it down this week and take a look at things. The filter on the end of my IPR valve had some indications of a bad O-ring in the system somewhere, I would just like to learn how to check leaks, or manually test my Oil pressure on the hpop side. The dummy gauge in the truck will come up, but it takes 20 or so seconds before it comes up. So I am leaning towards the fact that I have a oil leak somewhere. Even when I turn it over, there are no signs of any smoke coming from the exhaust, telling me in theory that there is no fuel going to the injectors. So will one of you techs please explain to me how to check for oil leaks on the hpop please.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the help, but I just found TSB 08-18-6. I believe that this should help searching for the leak.
