WHITEEEE SMOKE EVERYWHERE
hey guys it me again i have a new problem now i deleted the EGR and now my truck i smoking sooooo much white smoke.... and i wish it was just my tires is there any reason why this woould happen other then erg blown.... ohh yeah it dont smell like coolent no more

How far did you drive your vehicle after your "repair"? Depending on the severity of the EGR cooler failure, you could very easily have a lot of residual coolant still left in the exhaust. You will need to drive it at least a good 30 kms. before all the coolant clears out of the exhaust if that's the case.

ok i figured this im going to let it run for about an hour i have to drive cross canada i let it idle and it has a slight blue tinge to it but when i drive it picks up big time

I had the same issue some time ago with blue tint. My turbo seals went bad. No smoke after swap!!

its burning oil not coolent if its blue. when you did you egr you pulled your turbo, so something may have gotten damage on the turbo like diesel freaks and its leaking oil into the exhaust now.

Yup,,,,,,, mine WAS the strangest thing. Deleted EGR valve and cooler!!!!!! SMOKED LIKE ABOVE WITH WHITE AND BLUE TINT!!!!!!!! Swapped turbo ONLY ...... No Smoke!!
OK......... except BLACK SOOT!!!

well everything is fine i just drove it 2000km while towing a trailer and it runs like a champ now no more smoke.... so everything is fine now and i am making a new thread with pics of my EGR delete
