way to test an injector

I was getting a code for injector p0283. I got the valve cover off and could not see any wire chaffing at all. Is there a way to test the injector coil. I have a hard time believing the the injector coil could be bad, I didnt think that was something that would go bad,

a injector buzz test with a good scanner will test electrical side and cylinder contribution test will test mechanical side , p0283 is a circuit code , check wiring real good under valve cover , wil not be chaffed just usually loose connection

actually it did happen right after I installed the vxap2 strategy from spartan. My normal strategy is vxap1. I never thought a tune would cause that,, so maybe I better put my truck back together and change tunes and see if I get the same code.
