If you pumped 2 gallons of water out of the tailpipe, you have a major problem, EGR cooler or heads, if that much water came out of the exhaust, how much is in the oil pan?

I'd say if the motor seemed hydro locked, head gaskets could be the culprit. Are you able to crank it now? - I'm just stabbing at stuff and thought I'd bump this again.

I have a '04 F350 King Ranch 4x4, bone stock with 149,000 and it puked on the freeway going to work yesterday. Service guy (not Dealer) has been on it all day and said the EGR cooler went south. Having a EGR delete kit put in. Oil cooler might have to be changed too. Will have it up FOR SALE as soon as I get it back. Any Takers? Going back to a Cummins ASAP!
